She's alive!!! She's on the ECMO machine now. They won't know much of anything for the next few days. They're trying to find her "a" line, which is part of her heart beat, but her heart is beating on its own now, even though it's not perfect. The ECMO is doing all of her lung work and is able to do the work of her heart if they need it to. They won't know about brain function and organ damage for a few days. They won't know much of anything about her future for a few days, but our God does and He is mighty to save. He is our Jehovah Rapha, our Healing God.

Your prayers are keeping us together, and He is keeping her alive. Mat God receive ALL the glory, forever and always. May His name and power and might be made famous and personally known through the miracle of His daughter, who He so graciously placed in our family. We are blessed.

This message is sent to you via the blessing of Lorraine's cell phone. :-)

Lorraine & Matt,

We just wanted you to know that we am praying urgently for all of you today. Our family knows that God does walk with you through the Valley of the Shadow of Death and how He hears the prayers of his saints. May Jesus hold you close (I know He's right there keeping Chrissie company, even now...)

Also the mom of an adopted heart child who spent 2 months in the hospital after OHS...lifting your dear daughter in prayer. So hard, what you're going through. Hang on to the hope. She WILL be healed one way or another, either in this temporal world or in the arms of Jesus! And the difference you made is that she has known the love of a family! Praying for you all....

He asked me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" I said, "O Sovereign LORD, you alone know." Ez 37:3
He alone knows, but He CAN and I'm standing with you, asking Him to bring her back fully. If He does not, there will be a great purpose. Hang on, dear one. "For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ." 2 Cor 1:20
There will be a Yes. Hold on, sister.

I was introduced to your family by Brittany Krause's facebook post asking for prayer for Chrissie. This morning as I was praying and checking on your latest update, my daily scripture came on my phone...I just had to share
"Even in my suffering I was comforted because your promise gave me life" Psalm 112:50
I know God has you in the palm of His hand. Stay strong and you have a nation of prayer behind you!

from the song:
How Beautiful the hands that served the wine and the bread and the sons of the earth. How beautiful the feet that walked the long dusty road and the hill to the cross how beautiful! how beautiful! How beautiful . . .
is the BODY of Christ. How beautiful the heart that bled, that took all my sin and bore it instead. How beautiful the tender eyes that choose to forgive and never despise! How beautiful. How beautiful! How beautiful . . . is the BODY OF CHRIST! And as he laid down his life we offer this sacrifice, that we will live just as he died, willing to pay the price, willing to pay the price. How beautiful the radiant bride who waits for her groom with his light in her eyes. How beautiful when humble hearts give the fruit of pure life so that other's may live. How beautiful! How beautiful . . . .IS THE BODY OF CHRIST! How beautiful the feet that bring the sound of good news and the love of the king. How beautiful the hands that serve the wine and the bread and the sons of the earth. how beautiful! How beautiful! How beautiful . .. . is the BODY OF CHRIST! Matt and Lorraine, what you've done for Chrissie is the most BEAUTIFUL thing I've seen.

Pressing on and deeper into prayer for Chrissie! She has been on my heart all morning. Went to have lunch with two of my kiddos and saw a bunch of little girls giggling and acting so silly. I am asking the Lord that he would restore Chrissie ... heal every inch of her body from her brain to her littlest toe so that one day, you will hear those giggles you love ... you will find a day where you are living in the normal, eating lunch at her school and delighting in the knowledge that it was her creator that gave you back those moments! It will be he, then, that sits at your table and delights in the silliness of your giggles! Jehovah Rapha ... may you place your hand on her body, begin to beat her heart in perfect rhythm, miraculously make her brain function complete, weave together each function of your creation back together with your perfect hands! Lord may today be the day that every ear and every eye that hears of Chrissie will hear of YOU! TO YOU BE THE GLORY!
